Greetings,

December, 2022, is a special  month for our Diocese. We witnessed 3 young Men ordained into Priesthood ministry.

One was ordained in Ususue Parish in the Northern end of Malaita on the 3d of December, while two were ordained on the 10th of December in Tarapaina Parish in the Southern tip of Malaita island. Prior  to their Priesthood ordinations,the young men received their Deaconate in June this year.

These occasions bring great joy to many people who attended it. They danced, sang, and were involved in the many activities that highlight the events. Also, it is a blessing for our Diocese. The latest ordinations bring to the Diocese 35 Priests, serving about 80,000 Catholics living in 12 scattered Parishes in the island of Malaita.

As a fellow  Priest Conferrer, I am grateful to attend the occasion and take part in its blessing.
