2025 is about to enfold while 2026 is ready to unfold. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 turned out to be a happy and joyful day for the Catholic community of Radefasu in the Langalanga lagoon as they have now witnessed their church house blessing.

Happy and joyful greetings to you all! On Saturday, November 15, 2025, I had the opportunity to travel to Alaolo Canaan community to celebrate Mass with them and to commission one of their young men to become a Catechist.

In this month of November, beginning on November 2nd – 7th, we join again with the ministry of light to celebrate their anniversary. The celebration takes place in Gwaedalo community, the home of the ministry founder.

Marriage celebration in Karara village, a local community in my Parish. In the Holy Mass, 4 couples receive the sacrament of matrimony. I also admonish the couples that Marriage is a commitment that they are to be faithful to each other as Husband and Wife.

We are celebrating the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Heaven. The feast day falls on Friday 15 the August, 2025 and here in SI, it is the patron for all Catholic mothers.

As we are now in the middle of the year, our Diocesan program continues. On the 1st of July to the 8th of July 2025. Four Parishes with in the central Deanary of Auki Diocese come together for the celebration of St. Maria Goretti day which falls on July 6th and Blessed Peter Torot day on July 8th .

Pentecost is our parish patron feast day, the day of the Holy Spirit. Here in Buma again, it is time of prayer for the Parishioners.

Now we reach the climax of the Lenten journey and so celebrate the tridium celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ’s paschal mystery.
