Now we reach the climax of the Lenten journey and so celebrate the tridium celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ’s paschal mystery.

Here in Buma, It is a great time of prayer again for my parishioners. From their far away homes, they come to the parish station for the Holy week and tridium celebrations. They come with their families and belongings and camped in the station for the prayers.

Our celebrations started on Palm Sunday (13th April) and extends to Easter Sunday (20th April).Liturgies have been allocated for certain communities who have been responsible for each day, like Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. They sing and inculturate some parts in masses with traditional chanting’s and dancing’s. Having observed the mood of the people, indeed they are in spirit of prayer as they fixed their eyes on Christ.

On Easter Sunday morning, the mass of the resurrection of Christ is celebrated and few children received the sacrament of baptism and then the celebration ended. In the afternoon part of the day, people  started to return to their respective homes again.
