Hope you all are fine there and have enjoyed your time there especially in this time when the world cup games is still going on at your side.

Yes, back to us here, we just carry on with our church programs. On July 16, 2026, was the “The feast day of our lady of Mount Carmel” and it is the patron for the Zone 4 Catholic women in our Parish. Around 3 hundred women gathered together for the celebration.

One of the the local community in our Parish, by the name of Ngarinigela, hosted the program that accommodated women from 4 villages in our Parish, namely; Aisisi, Busii, Maeana and Buma.

The celebration started on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 and ended on Thursday, July 16, 2026. During the course of the program, the women had time to celebrate Holy Mass as well hear talks about the Lady of Mount Carmel, the aspiration she made to St. Simon Stock in the 13th century. One of the impressive parts of the talks to the women is the Scapular that the blessed virgin Mary gave to St. Simon as the privilege associated with it is “whoever dies, wearing the Scapular will be saved”.

All the mothers enjoyed their program and participated faithful in its activities until Thursday, July 16th, the actual feast day itself. Holy Mass is celebrated again before the program of the day ends and then all the women started to depart for their villages again.
