Reunion Celebration, Noro Parish, Gizo Diocese, Western Province
I am very glad to say that after 19 years of departure from Noro Parish, as of this year, 2023, I am honoured to be back again among the Catholic community of Noro, and to celebrate a Mass of reunion with them on Sunday, 21 April 2023, which is also Easter.
Many Parishioners attend the Mass and are pleased to see me back.
Noro is a small town near Munda. The famous Soltuna factory is located in it. Churches, too, have been established in it. With regard to the Catholic Church, I am one of the Pioneer Priests who served in Noro during its starting and difficult times. Today, the Parish is in its bright times and has its been taken care off by the Priests of the Guanellan Order.
As Priest, it is a real blessing to be able to be back to where I first served and to see the good changes that have taken place in the Parish; the Works of God have to be carried on. While in Noro, I had chance to visit the Munda community, as well the hospital to pray for some of the sick patients who really want blessings from the Priest.
With wishes and regards to you all!
I wish to acknowledge and sincerely thank you for your support
Yours sincerely in Christ!
