Greetings!

The many Covid 19 restrictions having been lifted, and its threats having subsided in S. I., today Saturday, 18th of June 2022, witness a huge gathering in the Holy Cross Cathedral  area.

Ministry of Light, a home grown ministry in the Catholic  Church of the Solomons, hosted a weekend of prayer and talks for its members.

Founder of the Ministry, Stephen Sifo, said the aim of the gathering is for the call of Entrustment for “Apostolic work and holiness.” He appeals for individuals and families to uphold these principles in their lives as this is what today’s society needs.

Attending this occasion are our Diocesan Bishop with five of his Priests, together with the Archbishop of Honiara, with Clergies of Honiara Diocese, Guests and other dignitaries. Many people appreciated the gathering, as the founder gave talks that shed light on the hearts and minds of all people who attended, namely, to live life in God’s blessings.
