Greetings.

On Sunday 12, June 2022, Priests and Bishop of Auki Diocese, Most Reverend Peter Houhou, joined the Community of St. Francis Xavier Parish to mourn and to say farewell to one of its Senior Priests, Fr. Fred Osifelo. Fr. Fred died after 25 years of faithful service as Priest.

During his life the late Father as Priest served in Lae Diocese in PNG, Gizo and Honiara Dioceses in S.I. Now God calls him to rest.

As one of the Confrerees, I travelled all the way from my Parish upon hearing the message to present at the occasion. Many people, besides the Priests, were also present, including relatives and friends of the late Father. The remote mission station of Ususue really filled up with people. All expressed their sadness for the great lost of the Holy and loving Priest .
