Greetings!

Today, Saturday, 11 September 2021, is a joyful  time  for us again. We celebrate  the 25th Anniversary of “HOLY NAME  OF MARY SEMINARY.” Holy Name of Mary Seminary, is an Institute run by the Catholic Church for training and formation of Priests and religious people here.

The Seminary is situated in Tenaru on the old fields of WWII. It started in 1995 and is now 25 years old. Many people come in for the celebration which is marked with Holy Mass, feasting and cultural performances. Bp. Peter of Auki Diocese is the main Celebrant as well as the guest of honour.

For all, it is a joyful and uniting moment. Many local groups in Honiara  attend. They celebrate into the evening.
