Happy New Year Greetings to you all!

Rufoki is a rural community in the Catholic Diocese of Auki. It is situated on the Northern  central coast of Malaita island. On Friday 6th of January 2023, the community had it’s church house blessed and dedicated. Bp. Peter of Auki Diocese is the main celebrant of the solemn and joyful celebration, assisted by seven of us Priests.

Reaching this stage for the Rufoki community is indeed a great milestone for the community since their struggle for 32 years for the building now come to an end. They sing, dance, and put on feasting for thousand of people that come to take part and witness the celebration.

Having this new house of prayer now will save the community from

the labour of repairing church houses every time and for all, the community now have nice and decent place of worship. Many people speak highly of the New church building which is now blessed.
